Bradford at Warrior Introduces “Hero’s Path” Addiction Treatment Program for Veterans and Active-Duty Military

Bradford Health has launched Hero’s Path, a treatment program for veterans and military service members diagnosed with substance use disorders. Part of the Veterans Affairs Community Care Network (VA CCN) and covered by TRICARE, the program is available at four of Bradford Healthcare’s residential treatment centers, including Bradford at Warrior.

Hero’s Path is specifically designed to confront the unique challenges military individuals encounter with substance abuse, fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie, targeted therapy, and extensive treatment plans. Staffed medical, clinical, and recovery support professionals, including many with military service themselves, Hero’s Path concentrates on the distinctive trauma, stress, and circumstances associated with military duty to nurture mutual support and help enable a transition towards a healthy, productive life in sobriety.

“For a veteran to have the best chance at success, they must be surrounded by a team of professionals who understand the unique challenges that they will face in their recovery journey,” said Brandon Lasker, CEO, Bradford at Warrior. “Our staff of veterans includes a primary therapist, support staff, case manager, and medical director. Having a specialized program allows us to support the veteran with other co-occurring diagnoses like PTSD, leading to better outcomes.”

Veterans, active service members, or families seeking support are encouraged to call 888-4-A-HERO-1 for further details or admissions information.
